She received her M.S. degree in Neurobiology and her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Rome La Sapienza.
She has won several postgraduate fellowships and a research grant at University of Rome Tor Vergata. Since 2020, she has continued her research activity at the Laboratory of Neurophysiology and Plasticity of the Santa Lucia Foundation as a research biologist, taking advantage of a co.co.co. contract.
Her research is focused on studying the anatomy and functions of the basal ganglia and their involvement in various pathologies, including autism spectrum disorders and movement disorders such as Dystonia and Parkinson’s disease.
Since October 2022, she has been a Researcher (RTDA, L.240/10), SSD BIO/16, at Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences – UniCamillus.
