Biography

Specialist in Aesthetic and Reconstructive plastic Surgery.

Director of the UOSD of Plastic Surgery Dermatological and Regenerative – IRCCS San Gallicano Institute-ISG in IFO ROME since 2018.

Contact person of OECI “Organization European Cancer Institutes” for ISG.

G9 Representative Rare Solid Tumors of the Adult in IFO in the Euracan network.

Adjunct Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics of the UniCamillus University and at the Degree Course for Orthopedic Technicians of the S. Andrea Hospital – La Sapienza University of Rome.

Member of the Steering and Verification Committee of INMI Lazzaro Spallanzani – IRCCS Rome.

She has held various important positions, including Head of Tissue Regeneration Clinic and High Specialization Position for Research and Clinical Applications in Regenerative Surgery. She has an extensive experience in the surgery of skin and subcutaneous cancers, rare tumors, and regenerative surgery for correction of oncological resection outcomes.

She is co-author of the PDTA for the Treatment of Melanoma and a member of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Disease Management Team as well as its verbalizing secretary since 2016.

She participated in the drafting of international guidelines for the treatment of Merkel cell carcinoma.

She is actively involved in translational research projects as a voting member of the clinical trials committee for ISG and has published over 60 scientific articles in indexed journals.
