Professor Pierconti graduated in 1995 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome in Medicine and Surgery, in 1999 at the same university he obtained a specialization in Pathological Anatomy and in 2003 a PhD.

In 2018 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as a Level II professor.

From 2000 to 2018 he was medical director with assistance functions at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome; starting from April 2021 he obtains the chair of Associate Professor in Pathological Anatomy at the same university.

Research: Uro-genital pathology, Neuropathology, Haematopathology.

Author of 83 papers peer-review e chapter book; H-index: 24 (http://scholar.google.it); 21 (Scopus).
