Dr. Piero Luigi Alò is the Director of Anatomic Pathology at the ASL of Frosinone (Italy).
A well known cancer pathology expert, his major areas of clinical practice include gynaecologic cancer and its precursors, breast and colon pathology and necroscopic pathology.
His research contributions include the expression of ancillary prognosticators in human malignancies.
Dr. Alò has been a faculty member at the University of Roma “ La Sapienza” and Professor of the Medical and Residency Program of the faculty
After receiving a medical degree from “La Sapienza” Dr. Alò continued two residency trainings at “La Sapienza” in Anatomic Pathology and Oncology. He then joined the faculty in 1990.
He has authored more than 50 peer reviewed manuscripts and he is recognized by the Institute for Scientific Information as a cited researcher and by the Essential Science Indicators as a highly cited Fatty Acid Synthase human malignancy prognosticator reseacher scientist
