Biography

Guyonne Rogier is an Associate Professor in the M-PSI/08 field at Unicamillus University, with an academic focus on psychopathology and clinical psychology. She obtained a Master’s degree in Dynamic-Clinical Psychology of Childhood, Adolescence, and Family from the Sapienza University of Rome in 2014, followed by a Ph.D. in Dynamic and Clinical Psychology at the same institution, where she defended a dissertation on gambling disorder and emotional regulation. Subsequently, she earned a specialization in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy with the highest honors.

Her academic career was further strengthened at the University of Genoa, where from 2021 to 2024, she served as a fixed-term researcher. During this period, she was also a member and coordinator of various committees, including the one dedicated to the Third Mission. As a lecturer, she taught courses in clinical psychology and psychopathology, with a particular focus on adolescent psychopathology and early relationships.

Her research activity primarily focuses on emotional dysregulation processes and their implications in psychopathology, including mood disorders, behavioral addictions, and pathological personality. Her research aims to identify risk factors and clinical intervention targets, employing a multidisciplinary approach that ranges from the analysis of metacognitive functions to latent profile analysis. She has authored numerous scientific articles published in leading international journals.
