Graduated in Medicine and specialised in Allergology and Clinical Immunology and in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, she holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

She is currently Public Health Officer at the General Directorate for Health Prevention, Ministry of Health. She had teaching assignments in Medical Statistics and in Epidemiology at the University of Tor Vergata, Degree Course in Nursing.

Her research activity is focused on infectious diseases epidemiology.
