Since 2023 she is  Associate Professor in Midwifery at  UniCamillus, where previously she has been Researcher (RTDa), and since 2020 she is Director of the Degree Course in Midwifery.

She was a research fellow at the Italian National Institute of Health (2015-2018).

She obtained her degree in Midwifery (2009), Master’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Science (2012), and Ph.D. in Nursing Science (2016) at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

Her main research interests include breastfeeding and infant nutrition, use of medications during lactation, and pharmacovigilance.
