Starting from March 2020, Medical Physicist at San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital (Rome), following an extensive experience at Humanitas Research Hospital (Milan). Prior research activities in physics were conducted at Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA), Università di Roma Tre, and the National Institute of Metrology ENEA-INMRI (Rome).
Master’s Degree in Physics (110/110) and following that a Ph.D. and a Specialization School in Medical Physics (70/70 with honors). I have been involved in teaching at Sapienza University of Rome and Summer School sessions at Humanitas University. Additionally, I have served as a mentor for specialized theses.
My primary areas of interest and scientific research include Medical Physics in Radiotherapy, ranging from stereotactic treatments to Monte Carlo simulations, development of new detectors, optimization of processes and patient care. I am currently involved in training programs for emerging countries.
As an author of scientific articles in international journals (H-index 17) and contributor to medical specialist texts, I regularly participate in national and international conferences. I am a member of the Italian Association of Medical Physics (AIFM) and the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO). I actively participate in national working groups within the AIFM association.
