Professor Vittorio Unfer is an obstetrics and gynecology specialist, researcher, and university lecturer.

Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “Sapienza” (1991). Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the II Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the Policlinico Umberto I of Rome (1995).

Recently he has obtained National Scientific Qualification of Associate Professor in Gynecology and Obstetrics, competition Sector 06/H1. He is the author of more than 107 scientific publications and inventor/owner of 16 national and international patents.

He has long been engaged in various research on the etiopathogenesis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). In this regard, he was the first promoter of the use of myo-inositol in various therapeutic areas, paving the way for new approaches that have met great interest in the scientific world.
