The University has an internal Research Quality Assurance System (Research QA), the purpose of which is to ensure the conditions under which activities are carried out, to set objectives and implement measures to achieve them, and to verify the level of achievement of the objectives set.

The main objectives of the Research Quality Assurance System are:

• developing operational guidelines, procedures and regulations.
• promoting the quality of scientific production in order to make the University internationally recognisable.
• promoting interdisciplinarity through forms of collaboration and sharing of internal and external resources.
• strengthening administrative support for research.
