UniCamillus and Omnia Roma

Rome, November 8, 2019 – UniCamillus University – the great and newly created Medical
University of Rome, situated in the large building previously occupied by Finmeccanica at
the crossroards of Via Tiburtina and the Grande Raccordo Anulare – concluded a
sponsorship agreement with Omnia Roma for D-Series teams and CSI Under 22 (Italian
Sports Center). The Rector of UniCamillus, Prof. Gianni Profita and the President of
Omnia Roma, Gianluca Pasquali, signed the agreement.

In addition to the economic aspects, the agreement provides for new synergies between
the two realities of the IV District of Rome. Indeed, UniCamillus and Omnia committed to
organize joint events such as Recruitment Days for the University’s students who want to
try to venture into basket and for young people who want to pursue a career as medical
and health professionals.

The Rector of UniCamillus, Prof. Gianni Profita, expressed his great enthusiasm for the
collaboration: “Mens sana in corpore sano must be practiced more and more in
universities: sport and medicine are the perfect blend to build a better society”.

The President of Omnia, Gianluca Pasquali, declared: “Partnership with UniCamillus is the
milestone of many years of work of Omnia Roma for basket and the territory, but it is also
the starting point towards new challenges. We are very proud to work with this important
University which decided to be located in the IV District and to embark with us on the
adventure of basket”.
