On Monday, October 16th, the new UniHall building will officially open its doors to students. This additional facility, joining the already existing structures of the Rectorate, UniCongres, and UniLabs, and soon to be joined by the Auditorium, marks UniCamillus’s continued growth journey to accommodate an increasing number of students. It provides new spaces and tools, ensuring the best possible learning experience within the university.
Starting next week, the new study rooms and relaxation areas will be available to everyone, along with two computer labs out of the three planned (the third will be completed in the coming days). There will be a total of 224 computer workstations available immediately, featuring comfortable seating and customized storage compartments designed by the university’s logistics office. From Monday onwards, students can also make use of the spacious open area in front of the building and the cafeteria tables for breaks between classes.
According to the schedule, some of the new classrooms that will host students from all degree programs are ready for the start of the academic year. The final completion of the construction is expected by the end of next month. With the new spaces available starting Monday, including computer labs and classrooms, there will be 374 additional spots. In a few weeks, with the completion of all areas, the total will increase to approximately 1,000 more seats. All the new facilities have been constructed using the latest technical solutions for security and materials specifically designed to ensure efficiency and maximum usability throughout the entire building.
