UniCamillus meets the Embassy of El Salvador

Rome, 04/02/2020 – The Rector of UniCamillus (International Medical University of Rome) Gianni Profita met this morning, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of El Salvador Maria Abelina Torres De Meilliez in its Italian office.

During the meeting, the Rector presented the University’s educational offer, highlighting the main characteristics: internationality, inclusive medicine and humanitarian mission.

The Chargé d’Affaires was, in fact, very enthusiastic about the UniCamillus mission which consists, in particular, in preparing doctors and health workers of different nationalities to respond also to the needs of the least developed countries. The University also provides numerous scholarships in the form of a “loan of honor”, completely extinguished if after graduation the professional returns to practice in his country of origin, identified together with the University, for a period of not less than at least at three years.

For these reasons, the Chargé d’Affaires Torres De Meilliez has confirmed her willingness to make sure that the opportunities made available by UniCamillus can also be exploited concretely by all the students of El Salvador and expressed the hope that from today’s visit they will trigger new collaborations.
