There have been 1158 enrolment applications to the Medicine and Surgery Degree course for the International Medical University UniCamillus in Rome for the Academic Year 2021/2022.
Therefore, the applications mark an increase of 34,2% with respect to the admission test registrations for the same admission procedure of the Academic Year 2020/2021.
“This is a terrific growth – says the University’s Rector, Gianni Profita – and it is linked very probably to the renewed perception of the health professional figure, occurred in these months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The figure of the doctor and his/her abnegation, in a moment of extraordinary crisis, clearly contributed to this increase”.
UniCamillus University is the first Athenaeum in the Lazio region which will have the admission test for his Degree courses via online procedures “Computer Based Test Home” by Selexi, a platform that has already supplied more than 40.000 tests for other important Italian Universities.
The decision was made to give the opportunity to all the candidates, also those who do not live in Rome, to participate easily in the admission test, therefore avoiding the inevitable crowding that a test procedure like this might cause, if held in presence.
