UniCamillus welcomes new incoming Erasmus+ students

The UniCamillus family has twelve new members. They are Erasmus+ students who will be joining our academic community for the coming semester. They come from Spain, France and Germany and will make our University even more international.

Last Monday, nine of them had the opportunity to discover the UniCamillus campus in person, with a first meeting in the Auditorium. Their names are Aitor, Bruno, Carla, Itzel, Lisa, Sophie, Maria, Rosa, Sara and Solène. Three more will be joining them soon, but in the meantime it was a first opportunity for them to get to know the environment in which they will live their university experience and also to make contact with their future colleagues. Each student will follow their own programme, but it is always important to share contacts and have a point of reference, especially in the early days.

The newcomers were therefore told who to contact for administrative needs, information about lectures and activities at UniCamillus. Alessandro Rotatori, Director of the UniCamillus Language Centre (UCLC), also explained the possibility of taking extra Italian and English classes to improve their interaction with fellow students and lecturers, or simply to broaden their educational background.

A little disorientation on the faces of the students seemed natural, but the excitement of the new adventure and the warm welcome from the UniCamillus staff immediately put a smile on everyone’s face. The enthusiasm to begin this journey was also evident in the first words of the students themselves, who were so happy to have made themselves at home from the very first moment in the place that will be their home for the next six months. We wish them all the best of luck!
