Giulia Ponterio
She got a Master Degree in Medical Biotechnology and subsequently a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
She achieved numerous pre doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
She performed the research activity at the Lab of Neurophysiology and Plasticity, Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS carrying out several scientific projects on the anatomy and neurophysiology of the basal ganglia and the neurological dysfunctions underlying movement disorders, in particular Parkinson’s and dystonias
She is author of numerous publications in international journals and she has participated in various national and international conferences.
Currently she is an Associate Professor of Human Anatomy (05/BIOS-12) at Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences – UniCamillus.
