Thanks to the latest data reported by AlmaLaurea, which analyses the educational performance and employment status of thousands of Italian graduates, UniCamillus confirms its prominent position in the university sector.
The AlmaLaurea Report on graduates’ profiles examined the educational achievements of over 305,000 students who graduated in 2024 from 80 Italian universities.
Furthermore, the AlmaLaurea Report on employment considered over 690,000 graduates from 81 universities, tracking their professional career paths one, three, and five years after graduation (for cohorts graduating in 2023, 2021, and 2019, respectively).
These reports clearly show that, in a national context in which the quality of university education plays an increasingly central role in young people’s professional future, UniCamillus stands out for its commitment to preparing motivated students and enhancing their skills, vocation and personal development.
The UniCamillus 2024 graduates’ profile
A total of 304 UniCamillus graduates who took part in the 27th AlmaLaurea Report on graduates’ profiles are included in the 2024 cohort. This group consists of 103 BSc graduates, 134 two-year and 67 six-year MSc graduates.
One of the most relevant features concerns the demographic and geographical breakdown of its students. UniCamillus attracts a large proportion of international students—double the national average—confirming the University’s strong international appeal as a hub for students from outside Italy, and consolidating its multicultural and international profile. Similarly, 64.8% of students come from outside Lazio, which is more than double the national average of 24.5%. This highlights that UniCamillus is chosen not only by young people from Rome and neighbouring areas, but also from other Italian regions, which confirms the quality and reputation of its programmes.
In terms of teaching quality, the data is equally positive. The University’s current on-time graduation rate is 89.5%, significantly higher than the national average of 58.7%. The average graduation grade is also impressive at 106.1 out of 110 (compared to a national average of 103.8). These figures reflect UniCamillus’s ability to support students effectively, helping them to complete their studies on time while maintaining excellent teaching quality and achieving outstanding results.
The interpretation of the data on curricular internships is key to understanding the University’s recent history. Established in 2018, UniCamillus had its first cohort of MSc Medicine and Surgery graduates in 2024, while the first cohort of MSc Dentistry students still have to complete their programme. The 5 BSc programmes are, therefore, particularly relevant in the current overview of the University. It is in this context that the number of BSc graduates stands out: 91.3% of BSc students undertook an internship during their studies, which is much higher than the national average of 59.8%.
Overall, the picture that emerges is of a young university that is already strongly focused on practical training.
UniCamillus stands out in terms of both numbers and the perceived quality of the overall university experience: 95.2% of graduates said they were satisfied with their course, particularly appreciating their relationship with the tutors (94.5%) and the quality of the infrastructure (92.6%). 81.9% of students said they would choose the same programme and university again, which suggests that UniCamillus is capable of providing a positive and motivating educational experience.
Employment status of UniCamillus graduates one year after graduation
A total of 283 UniCamillus graduates participated in the AlmaLaurea survey on employment status. The analysis focuses on the occupational status of BSc and two-year MSc graduates who obtained their qualifications in 2023 and who were interviewed one year after graduation. Six-year MSc graduates are not included, since the first UniCamillus medical students only graduated in 2024.
UniCamillus graduates have particularly high employment rates: 84.3% of BSc graduates were employed one year after graduation, compared to 78.6% nationwide. This underlines the University’s ability to produce professionals who effectively meet market demands. Even more significant is the perceived effectiveness of the degree: 95.7% of those in employment consider their degree to be highly effective for their work (compared to a national average of 60.8%).
Furthermore, the average net monthly salary of UniCamillus BSc graduates one year after graduation is €1,531, which is slightly higher than the national average of €1,492. This confirms the value of the training received.
UniCamillus also achieved remarkable results with two-year MSc graduates. While there are some differences compared to BSc graduates, these students also demonstrate an employment rate consistent with the national average (78.4% vs. 78.6%), as well as a slightly higher average salary (€1,539 net per month vs. €1,488). 80.2% state that their degree is useful or extremely useful for their job (compared to a national average of 68.2%), which is a clear indication of adequate quality education.
Pride and commitment to innovative and professional training
“The AlmaLaurea data confirms that UniCamillus has already established itself as a benchmark for solid, inclusive, and internationally-oriented education. Our students stand out for their on-time graduation rate, high performance, and strong links with the world of work”, says UniCamillus Rector Gianni Profita. “These results make us proud and motivate us to invest even more in quality, the practical aspect of our programmes, and the professional impact of our graduates in the healthcare system, both in Italy and worldwide”.
These figures are a source of pride for UniCamillus and also an incentive to continue implementing educational innovation, providing student support, as well as collaborating with the best professional organisations.
